Preaching the Word
& loving the people
"If Jesus is God & died for me,
then no sacrifice can be too great
for me to make for Him."

Hello family & friends,
Three quick, but exciting bullet point updates for you as we continue our transition from one mission field to the next:
1) "What's our job? Go into the mission field, love them the way God loves them, & preach the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ, & let the Kingdom of God advance one soul at a time. Amen?" That was how John MacArthur closed a sermon about loving even your enemies some years ago. It's stuck with me as we were adopted by the Village Missions family & we adopted their motto/mission as our own: Preach the Word & Love the People. That was 7+ years ago now & we've been faithful, by grace alone. Please pray we'll continue to succeed in His eyes. That's what's really important & will last forever.
2) We've been cleared to share with you that Village Missions is sending our family to join, serve, & bless Amy Chapel (AmyChapel.org), in Northwest Wisconsin, in a rural area west of Eau Claire. God is good & we'll be moving in August. Our first Sunday & my first sermon is set for September 6th.
The church livestreams Sunday morning worship services on their Facebook page. So, consider yourself invited to find Amy Chapel's Facebook page, like/follow/subscribe, & watch, worship with us, pray, & root for His Church gathering at Amy Chapel on Sunday mornings at 10:30 CST. Of course, you can watch anytime after that, too.
At this point, we don't know a lot more than that, but rest assured there will be more to come...
3) This last point is both a prayer request & a practical ministry need. We've managed as a one car family since joining Village Missions. That's no longer going to be possible & we're now officially on the lkout for how the Lord will provide a reliable 2nd car. If you have one or know someone who does, please send us a note. We're not picky &, as you know, reliable isn't always cheap, especially in northern winters. Any donations (of a car or funds toward one) are tax deductible. Please pray with us the Lord will provide the right car at the right time & trust with us He will.
Thank you for praying & rooting for us. We'll send our next update after we get settled in. As is always the case with Jesus, the best is yet to come. We love you. Jesus loves you MORE!
