Friends, family, & partners, the Lord is blessing our socks off (brrrr!) as He continues to provide the grace to manage the tail end of another transition & as we are shoveling out of Winter Storm Gail’s “Welcome to New England” gift of a little less than 20” of snow in 12 hours.

It’s been 3 months since our last Scott family update, sent in July. The thrust of that update was sharing how the Lord’s been working in, around, & through our family here in Eastern Pennsylvania.

While it’s not news that most of America is moving away from Christ, that process is happening faster & has been happening longer in some regions more than others.

Warm greetings to you, dear friends & family, from Eastern Pennsylvania! It's been an eventful few months for us & we see the Lord working!

God not only wants us to look for & find Him, but reach out for Him, depending on Him to always be within arms' reach as we grope for Him, no matter where we are.

The world seems a lot different than it was just 45 days ago when I sent our family’s first update from the field in Eastern Pennsylvania.

It’s difficult to imagine now that just six weeks ago, the moving van your kind gifts made possible for our family to hire pulled away from the home where we lived in Audubon, Iowa, to make the 1,073 mile trip to the apartment our new church is providing for us in Lime Ridge, Pennsylvania.

We sent our last update on September 21st, the 4 month anniversary of our arrival to shepherd the flock & love the people & spread the Good News of Jesus Christ in & around Audubon, Iowa.

Today marks 1,000 hours since arriving on the field, greeted warmly by the gathered congregation of Faith Community Church as we drove into town on May 21st.

Most if not all of you know that just over a month ago, our family agreed to accept an invitation from Village Missions to join them in their efforts to keep country churches alive in rural North America.
